Thank you for reporting the site to the Town. We will be dispatching our inspector to the site to evaluate the sidewalk. Please allow us up to two weeks to conduct the inspection.
The grass on and along the sidewalk has been trimmed down. The sidewalk has also been added to the Town's master list to be repaired. Thank you for reporting this site to the Town.
Thank you for the update. The inspector will reassess the area and the property owner will be notified immediately to clear the sidewalk of all obstructions. Thank you for reporting this site to the Town.
Ah, the incorrect address 282 feet from the actual address might be the reason why the inspector found no issues with overgrown grass and/or weeds.
Just a heads up: It is possible every town employee who looks at this reported issue will see "58 Chester Street" and not understand why this issue was reported. I've seen it happen many times before. The employees of our town have busy schedules and issues reported with incorrect addresses are the ones most likely to be ignored with the plausible reason that the person who reported the issue gave the wrong address.
I guess we can't expect them to actually look at the pictures in the reported issues and say, "Wait a second. The place in the picture is different than the place I'm looking at now."
I can easily assist in remedying these communications problems. If our town is willing, I would be happy to assist in all issues reported via SeeClickFix that our town's officials can't figure out.
If out town is interested in employing my services, they need only let me know and we can discuss remuneration.
